A Warm Welcome to Shama Arnold and Enslin Smith!

2016-03-21 11:48 by Robin Roberts

Shama has come to Hilltop from Johannesburg to spend three months training with health specialist Ursula Wyss to undertake the study of Ursula's natural health solutions for healing and wellness. Shama's family has known Rommel for the past 50 years and in the course of conversation it became apparent that Shama would like to come and learn from Ursula Wyss. Shama's education and career field is in accounting and office administration. A large departure from the intense city life. Shama is enjoying the first two weeks of her training and has made meaningful contibutions to assist with Ursula's Power Point Presentation on alternative medicine.

Enslin Smith arrived 4 weeks ago from the farming town of Alberta. A very small town with high unemployment, people living in this community are forced to leave the area for other opportunites as the town has nothing to offer the youth or unemployed adults. This young man is only 20 years old and has come to Hilltop to train in the IT workshop with Jolin Oktober.

Enslin has a dream and the hope of being able to achieve a certain level of multiple skills so he too may become employed one day rather than spending his days as a jobber standing on a curb asking for work as a labour. Enslin is a gentle person who tends to take time to do a task completely well and correctly, upon iinstruction.

We wish both Shama and Enslin to be patient, uphold their commitments to their trainers and we hope that they may discover their true passion by the skills and mentorship that they are recieving at Hilltop Empowerment Centre.
