Rommel Roberts and Ursula Wyss Honorary Guest Speakers

2016-03-20 18:08 by Robin Roberts

Ursula was able to share perspectives as growing out of her 26 years of experience as a practioner in Switzerland. Her lecture was very well recieved with the heightened interest and response very evident. The students had questions regarding many of her practical solutions, wanting more information that seemed to touch them in a very personal way.

Rommel was sharing a specific model developed from 40 years of practical experience as a human rights activist. Both presentations where very well recieved. Rommel's presentation was seen as unique with students expressing regret that this type of knowlegdge is not shared at schools. The indepth information and understanding the roots of conflict together with techinques for resolution was very helpful and gave a whole new insight into self knowledge and personal developement. The students felt that they came away with practical tools to prepare themselves for the future.
